Sheltered Accommodation
Heath Town Estate Management Board manages two blocks of sheltered accommodation for elderly (i.e. of pensionable age) and registered disabled tenants.
Lincoln House and Tremont House each contain 41 one and two bedroom flats. Rents for these properties start at around £60 per week - which includes heating and hot water. The properties are spacious and well insulated.

Each block has a resident warden who acts as a ’good neighbour’ to the residents, attends to health and safety issues within the blocks and organises social events.
Although the flats are fully self contained, there are a number of communal facilities for residents to make use of should they wish. These include a launderette, TV lounge, kitchen and dining area.
The blocks have secure from entrances which are linked by intercom to each individual flat. This means that there is no access to the blocks to the general public or unwanted callers. Each flat also has a ’CareLink’ alarm linked to a central control station, so that residents can alert emergency services at any time should they become ill.
